I've found a few quick moments here or there to start on
Claire's second quilt.![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhj4wk8V-AgJa3g1aSBpW0NHEN2AVkNkqZbkCsCzbS-7_6Fqu6k9TIagIM2uYrfvffmj_WMDvV6dPVRGGGY7OLmJs7olZbNg43MttO_ZkYzA4r_62fK0uwc7KGgQSZx040NNGZPY6yAgPPA/s400/DSC_2417.JPG)
So far, I'm loving the look, it's exactly what I was going for! I wanted a quilt that looked a little vintage, but not too Great Grandma-like. I also wanted something that could sit on the end of her bed for many years to come and I think the combination of more vintage-looking floral fabrics along with some more modern Amy Butler fabrics works really well.![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFmTslVhG9Cp2Pk36qP3ILD4z27mTZgrMamHE3ouRJ3uaYYIUqFt8pDzkpRZS_a7MrktGPmmMZmq_txXB3EAq0UWA1Bm9l3NRo1q6fZMUoWA3ZgmSdf89UFuEOAnDbr0-t3HityRhyphenhyphenhWOo/s400/Claire's+Quilt+Pieces.jpg)

Of course, this is all the easy part.
The true test will come when I start sewing these squares together!
