In preparing to host on Mother's Day, I pulled out my Grandma's Sand Cookie recipe. I have the best memories of these cookies from growing up. Grandma would always keep a supply in her freezer and would deliver them in a tin lined with wax paper. I would sneak extra cookies out of the tin when no one was looking! It just seemed fitting as a remembrance of her to make her cookies for Mother's Day.
