I'm a perfume girl, but I never want to be the girl whose perfume announces her presence before she does. That's why I like this perfume by Sarah Jessica Parker. It's powdery (is that a word?) and sweet, but certainly isn't going to knock your socks off. Next time you walk past the perfume counter in a department store, try it out!

I'm finding myself with more and more recipes scratched on paper and thrown in one of my kitchen drawers. It's time to get those recipes organized! I'm hoping with my recipe box and some sweet cards like these, I'll be able to get my recipes organized, and keep them that way!

Crafty Christmas: MOPS Gifts
I just finished up my gifts for the girls in my MOPS group, with an entire day to spare, whew!

I made each of the girls a fabric zippered pouch in this fun Christmas fabric that kind of reminds me of scrapbook paper! I used an easy peasy tutorial found here.
I made them assembly-line style and that seemed to work pretty well. It meant an entire night of cutting, then lots of ironing in the interfacing, sewing zippers, and finally, finishing off the sides.

Also inside each is a candy cane, some Ghirardelli chocolate (YUM!), and hand sanitizer.
So they're all loaded up, ready to go. This afternoon, I plan to write little notes to each of the girls on the cards I made earlier, and this project is DONE! I hope they like them!

I don't know if its the teal and red color combination or what, but I can't seem to enough of the Martha Stewart kitchen collection. I could stand for hours in front of the display at Macy's and just gush over how much I love it all.

Day 9: Maggie Whitley Wallets (Gussy!)
If someone told me I had to choose which wallet I like best from Gussy's shop, I honestly don't think I'd be able to pick just one. Each one is unique, colorful, and just downright fun. How could you possible not feel happy each time you pulled one of these wallets out of your purse???
