Monday Updates
I hope everyone had a great weekend! Ours was really nice, the highlight for me being Sunday with church, a stop at the opening day of the Fulton Street Artist's Market, and lunch at Roses, one of our favorites.

Eric was kind enough to entertain Claire a few times to give me some dedicated craft room time. I got a ton done, yet still feel like I have so much to do. I fell asleep last night wondering if it really is possible to feel caught up and overwhelmed all at the same time?? I do prefer to be busy, so it's a good problem to have, really!

If you peek over there to the right, you can see that the shop is back open! Many items have returned, but there are some new items that have been added as well including ruffle pillows (!) and new wreaths. I'll also have another pillow and wreath load heading to Rebel soon!
Be sure to hop on over to Simple Organized Living this week for her birthday week celebration. Andrea is hosting 26 giveaways in honor of her 26th birthday, including a giveaway by yours truly!
Later this week I'll be finishing up a *surprise* living room/dining room design project I've been working on. I'm so excited to finally see it come together, and of course, to see the home owner's reaction too! I'll be sure to get some before & afters!

And in other personal news, I'm now 19.5 weeks pregnant. This pregnancy is f.l.y.i.n.g. by, and I can hardly believe we have our ultrasound already this week. If baby cooperates, we're planning to find out what we're having. We didn't find out with Claire, so it should be fun to change things up a bit this time by knowing what we're going to have. I'm thinking we're going to be seeing a lot of blue in our future, and Eric thinks we'll be seeing more pink, so we'll see who's right!

I made chicken enchiladas for a family that just had a baby.This is my go-to recipe when I have to bring someone a meal.

I'm at the point of my-pants-are-too-small but I-don't-want-to-wear-maternity-clothes-yet. So I tried the old rubber band trick. Yeah, the rubber band snapped within minutes of my putting it on. So, I went to Target and bought a belly band instead, which may just be my new BFF. Just saying.
I had to run way more errands this week than I normally like to, in large part to a design project I'm working on (eek!) Thankfully, this girl was a champ and did super with all our running around town.

I really don't know what I do so right with flowers as I've never considered myself a green thumb, but wow, can I just say our flower box flowers are amazing?!?

Monday's 10 Things
My dear friend Abi is turning the big 3-0 today! In honor of her special day, today's 10 things is all about my memories with Abi, things I love about her, and things about Abi that I'm most thankful for!~
1. We've experienced so many of life's major milestones together. We met and graduated college together, shared the same employer post-graduation, we were both married in 2003 and both had our first child in 2007.
2. My daughter and Abi's son have turned out to be great friends who play so well together.
3. She is an amazing mother and is doing a great job of raising a very sensitive, caring and thoughtful little boy.
4. Many of her recipes have become staples in our house. Eric would like to personally thank Abi for her Chicken Salad Squares recipe, his favorite! I've yet to make her Oreo Truffles but think I might just have to this week, in honor of her birthday of course!
5. She could win a trophy for her home organization/list-making skills.
6. She has an amazing eye for design which is obvious by just one look at the treasuries she puts together, and by her adorable sets of blocks in her Etsy shop. One step into her home and you know she's put a lot of thought into every last piece of its design.
7. She's a very gracious host and does a great job throwing showers and other celebrations.
8. In a world of emails and text messages, she is keeping the art of handwritten notes alive.
9. She also always picks out the most thoughtful gifts.
10. She's very intentional, thoughtful and gracious in all she does.

No, I promise I haven't fallen off the face of the Earth this week, just maybe fallen out of blog-land a bit. Here's a pathetic small bit from our week...
my Spring-time allergies have e.x.p.l.o.d.e.d. this week. I try to stay completely un-medicated while pregnant (aside from my prenatals of course!) but finally caved this week and sought some relief. So worth it.
Eric came home from a neighbors recently and couldn't stop raving about how they were eating Hamburger Helper for dinner and how good he thought it looked. So I humored him this week and we ate dinner from a box, not bad, not good, whatever.
